Why a microsoldering bench matters for consoles
An HDMI port sits on the motherboard with dozens of tiny solder connections — replacing one properly takes hot air, a microscope, and a steady hand, which is why so many places quote weeks of mail-away time for it. Ours is done in-house, usually in a couple of days, and if the port tore board traces on its way out (it happens), we repair those too instead of calling the board dead.

Frequently asked
My PS5 turns on but there's no picture. Is that the HDMI port?
Most of the time, yes — especially if the port looks loose, bent, or the cable has to sit "just right." We confirm it in diagnosis before you commit, since the same symptom can occasionally be the HDMI chip instead — which we also repair.
Will I lose my saves and games?
No. These repairs don't involve the storage drive — your games, saves, and accounts are untouched.
Do you fix water-damaged consoles?
Yes — a spilled drink is a board-level job, and the earlier it comes in, the better the odds.
